# ASR September 2007 - set for September 7th to 9th, 2007 at the San Diego Convention Center in California. A huge skateboarding, surfing and snowboarding trade show with 3 shows thought the year, ASR is a great place for retailers and brands to get together, and for anyone interested in the future of action sports fashion, culture and industry to see what's new. Also, skateboarding companies often hold special events, such as IASC meetings.
# Mexico X Games - set for September 8th to 9th in Mexico City, Mexico, the Mexico X Games have an invite format with pro competitions for park and vert skateboarding.
# Maryhill Festival of Speed - held in Goldendale, Washington, right on the Columbia gorge, from September 11th to 15th, 2007, the Maryhill Festival of Speed celebrates bombing hills at insane speeds. There are races for bikes, inline skates, cla*sic luge and downhill skateboarding, plus awards ceremony and after party.
# Toyota Challenge - The fourth stop of the Dew Tour is set for September 20th to 23rd in Salt Lake City, Utah, with perk and vert practice on September 19th. The Dew Tour is part of the Action Sports Pro Tour (ASPT), and has five stops throughout the year, each earning competitors points towards the finals, the Playstation Pro, held in October. The Toyota Challenge will have competitions for park and vert skateboarding, plus concerts, a festival village, etc.
# Grind for Life 4 - Grind For Life is an organization that helps people with cancer, especially those who travel long distances to treatments. Grind For Life holds a series of 4 contests - the fourth one being held September 22rd, 2007 at the Kona Skatepark. This is a pool skateboarding competition. The final awards ceremony for Grind for Life is held in November.
# Tim Brauch Memorial - This contest started as a memorial for Tim Brauch, who died of a sudden heart attack in 1999 at the age of 25 (read more about him on the Tim Brauch Memorial Fund Website). The money raised from this competition was for a Tim Brauch Memorial Skatepark, which was finally completed last year. The Tim Brauch Memorial Contest is now an established skate competition, with the bowl contest being part of World Cup Skateboarding's "Concrete Bowl Series".
