So fellas just for start, those who didnt come missed a hell of a party!
So the trip in general: We met up with Moody and the other guys in Abu Dhabi with three buses waiting for us, but since there were not as many people joining us as the organizers expected, we only took over 2 buses and started our journey towards Dubai.
The usual gas station was visited (the one with the Burger King) and we continued towards Dubai Festival City were The Lord of The Street competition was held.
when we arrived (and from now the general viewpoint changes to Graffiti viewpoint) the organizers gave us our forms to fill out and prepared us for the graffiti competitions.
Montana Spraycans were given to us (10 exactly) and by Tagging a wall (Writing out the artist name) the judge decided who gets which wall. Then they gave us 5 hours to complete our masterpieces and we started working. The theme was Lord of The street and Red Bull, although they asked us not to specifically graff Red Bull. More or less the theme was done and by the end of the five hour limit, 7 artpieces were showing on the walls. Then we had a little time to chill (watch the BBoys do their part, have a red bull or two) when they gave out the awards.
Afterwards we regrouped at the buses were BBoy Ibrahim and other non BBoys (such as me) started a "you've been served" competition without a prize.
The trip was amazing and word up for the organizers. It must have been hard to pull it off but it was worth it.
Next year Im coming for sure and Im already planning the next graffiti.
With this I close my lines and wait for the next Lord of the Street competition.
Oh yeah, and if someone found my phone on the bus, please PM me, cuz I think it fell out when I was sleeping. (its a Nokia 3210 blue)
Thanks again guys for coming and thanks for the Organizers for making this happen
Word AP!
